All children in reception and the primary school must wear full school uniform.
Children in the pre school do not wear uniform but must nonetheless have certain items of uniform.
All items of clothing and bags must be clearly named.
The requirements are:-
Boys and girls
Navy River House Sweatshirt (this is for special occasions and not every day wear so one is sufficient)
River House backpack
All children in the pre school must also have a complete change of clothes, slippers or plimsolls for indoor wear, and suitable clothes for outdoor play.

During the Autumn and Spring terms children must also have coats, hats, scarves and gloves for outdoor playtime.
Earrings are not allowed although children may wear ear studs if their ears are pierced. Necklaces are allowed if they are worn underneath shirts or blouses. No other jewellery is permitted and all jewellery must be removed while a child is participating in gym, games and swimming.
If a child is required to wear a head covering for religious reasons then this is permitted but it must be navy blue. Facial covering is not permitted.
