Open mornings take place once a term, in October, January and May. The school is open to visitors from 9.30 am to 11.30am. Visitors are shown around the school, in small groups, by the older children and then have the opportunity to listen to a talk by the Principal on the subject of Montessori education, to talk with the Head Teacher and to make enquiries about admissions.

As we have around 60 to 70 sets of visitors on open mornings we request that, If your child is of pre school age, you do not bring them with you to the open morning. We cannot safely accomodate the additional number of children that represents and we have found from experience that it is easier for you, and us, to concentrate on gaining and giving a proper impression of the school if you are not accompanied by young children. Children of primary school age are welcome to accompany you to an open morning if you wish.

For security reasons, admission to open mornings is by invitation only and that is why we ask that you send us an email to book a place. We will then send you an invitation by email one to two weeks before the open morning.
